A bridge is a fixed restorative treatment used to replace one or multiple missing teeth. It is a ceramic or metal prosthesis that uses the adjacent existing teeth as support to span the empty space of the missing teeth.
For patients requiring replacement of all teeth in the upper and/or lower arch of the mouth, removable dentures are an excellent treatment option. They provide improved esthetics by replacing the missing teeth in the mouth, and improved overall function for eating and speech. Dentures that replace one or few teeth are called partial dentures.
A dental implant can be used to replace a missing tooth. By substituting the root of the missing tooth, it prevents further serious complications that can arise if the missing tooth is left untreated. Dental implants have the highest prognosis of treatment given the right candidate. Learn More
